Review of American Ultra (2015) by Justchill4Xe — 20 Aug 2015

American Ultra is less stoner and more love story than you would expect from the trailer, it manages to blend multiple ideas into an interesting and cohesive story. The movie maintains plenty of action and drama while still throwing in some laughs.

Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart have a beautiful rapport that really shines through out the entire film and really helps you connect with the characters. Action sequences manage to be brutal, entertaining and somewhat unconventional.

The movie shines when you stop viewing it as Bourne with stoners and see it as a reluctant action hero love story with stoners.
