Review of American Satan (2017) by Pj B — 04 Feb 2018
Faustian psychological horror satire about a young metal band that makes a pact with the devil. It's a slow burn with no fire. One thing I found both odd and disappointing is that Andy Biersack, who fronts a successful metal band in real life, didn't do any of his own singing in the movie.
Why do you cast the singer of Black Veil Brides and dub his singing voice with someone else, who's not nearly as good? Other than that, all I can say is that it was shot really well, and it was fun seeing the iconic music venues, and bars of West Hollywood on film.
