Review of American Assassin (2017) by Natalie P — 26 Sep 2017

Vince Flynn is one of my favourite authors and Mitch Rapp is one of my favourite literal characters, so I was excited to see a movie coming out based on his books. I really like Dylan O'Brien but I was a little skeptical about him playing the role of Rapp (just I was of Tom Cruise playing Jack Reacher) as physically he was not how I pictured Rapp.

I was happily surprised though as I thought O'Brien did a fantastic job. I thought the story was good, the action scenes were great and all the actors were well cast. I haven't read a Flynn book in a little while so I didn't find myself comparing the movie to any specific book.

I was just able to immerse myself in the movie and the characters. Overall I really enjoyed this movie.
