"We are journalists and we are reporting what we are being told. It's not as if I can say, 'Hold on a minute; I just wanna double check that myself in some other way.'"...and that, ladies and gentlemen, is the problem with the thought processes in the modern-media landscape.

If you've seen "Making a Murderer" or the Paradise Lost films, then very little of the corruption here will surprise you. Still, there's enough corruption, second-guessing and intrigue to keep you engaged.
