Review of Amadeus (1984) by Fernando C — 18 Dec 2010
Now this film has got to be one of the greatest dramas ever made in the history of cinema. The thing that amazed me the most was that it was made in a decade where most of the music was inspired by the Sunset Strip and New Wave.
I never expected that a film about Mozartâ(TM)s music would be made in such a decade. Everything in this film is just superb. Everything from the acting, the drama, the comedy, the sound, the wardrobes, the make-up, the directing, the dialogue, every single thing is great.
I guarantee that after watching this film anybody who does not love classical music or opera will instantly want to know more about them. This is just pure perfection.
