Review of Aloys (2016) by Tor M — 20 Jan 2017
Director Tobias Nölle manages to engage with an idiosyncratic sense of aesthetic that goes from the beautifully subdued cinematography to the unorthodox editing, but is the film's character development and story twists that enthrall on an emotional level.
Picture Charlie Kaufman's high concept complexity and depth with the appeal of the Coen Brothers quirky characterization.
