Review of Alone in the Wilderness (2004) by Jeremiah T — 30 Oct 2010
One man alone in the wilderness of Alaska builds a home, hunts for food, plants a garden and is able to survive. A modern day Henry David Thoreau who famously lived at Walden pond. Dick Proenneke lived at Twin Lakes Alaska for 30 years.
An incredible story of self-preservation. It's possible to live 'off the grid'.
