Review of All Over Me (1997) by Kace C — 18 Nov 2012
This could have been one of those horrible boring indie films where youths are horrible to each other and die in stupid ways a la Ken Park. If it were not for the fact this film is actually good. The characters' arcs are emotionally verisimilitudinous, their actions feel true, and the stakes feel real.
The film somehow simultaneously lulled me into a false sense of security while keeping me on edge throughout, keeping me interested until the last frame.
