Review of Algiers (1938) by Jay N — 19 May 2008
It has been said that there are only seven storylines in the world. This was an interesting adapatation on the one where you use a woman to get to a criminal, which can also be seen in Notorious, North by Northwest, and Mission: Impossible II.
Though fairly predictible and with an unnecessary final two minutes, it was worth seeing. The French actor who plays Pepe is especially good.
