Review of Ajami (2009) by Henri B — 17 Apr 2010
A gorgeous film about the Israeli Arab slums of Jaffa. Shani and Copti don't overly-victimize any one side, nor do they use the film to project any kind of political agenda, but it was nice to see the presence and concerns of Israel's largest minority addressed.
The acting, screenplay and characterization were superb.
