Review of Air America (1990) by Sharyn B — 12 Aug 2008
Okay, I got a kick out of this one. Robert Downey Jr. is great in it, Mel Gibson is great in it, and the supporting cast is entertaining. It's a buddy story, and it's just slightly a-typical enough to be worth watching.
It stands out because there's no love story to get in the way, or be the cause of the conflict. It's based on morals and conscience, obligation and need, and not who wins the girl in the end. I thought that was pretty cool.
