Review of Age of Uprising: The Legend of Michael Kohlhaas (2013) by Sarfaraz A — 16 Feb 2014
This movie is certainly not destined to large audiences....it reminds me some french features such as Le Frere Du Guerrier or some other french films made since ten years, movies that are slow, rough, sometimes tepid, but very interesting and unusual, if you compare them to hollywood blockbusters.
....this movie is dark and depressing at the most, but not as violent as you might expect..if you're a patient and proactive viewer, this film will test your code of ethics in a way few ever have .
.. actor Madds Mikaelsen who speaks in french in this movie actually did not understand one word of what he said....this is an information I got from a french website...
