Review of Age of Uprising: The Legend of Michael Kohlhaas (2013) by Daniel P — 07 Dec 2014
People seem to have a problem with the slow pacing, but I think it fits the setting very well. I don't imagine things in medieval France happened on grand scales or at a breakneck pace. It's realistic enough that it makes you wonder about what living in a feudal society must have been like.
The casting is great. Mikkelsen is a beast and the little girl steals a few scenes with her steely horrified yet determined look.
