Review of A Wonderful World (2006) by Claudia M — 01 Nov 2007
Another politically savvy movie that continues to in Estrada's own way keep the government on it's toes and inform them that not everything is working out and something still needs to be done about the state of affairs of the ever present poor.
The humor is incredibly dark, and it often caters to the sense of comedy that we mexicans tend to find entertaining. It is necessarily depressing because it is trying to bring to the public conscience the evils that the Neo-liberal tendency to trust numbers without actual backgrounding can cause.
