Review of A Very Murray Christmas (2015) by James R — 24 Dec 2015

I ended up enjoying this one a lot more than I actually thought I would. Directed by Sofia Coppola this is a short film about Bill Murray trying to do a Christmas special where he sings and has a ton of guests joining him to do duets and features.

It's told more in a story mode (not much like the variety shows you see actors do) and it works. There's a lot of charm to it and while the singing from everyone isn't exactly the best at times (this ain't Michael Buble) it has a lot of heart and real warmth there.

I enjoyed it overall and recommend giving it a look if you have Netflix and you're looking for a Christmas film to watch tonight.
