Review of A Slipping Down Life (1999) by Gavin M — 11 Sep 2007
Disappointing. The acting was pretty good for the most part, but the story was a bit bland. Yes, there were some unique moments in the film (I mean, the main character carves a name into her forehead), but for the most part it was a pretty generic film.
I really like Lilly Taylor, but I felt the supporting cast of Sara Rue and John Hawkes really out performed everyone else (including Guy Pearce). I really don't have much to say about this film, it was just pretty bland.
Oh yeah, some nice camera work at the beginning, there you go I had something to say.
