P Diddy was good, but Phylicia Rashad was amazing. When Diddy (Walter) lost his momma's money to that hustler; Phylicia cried like I have never seen her cry before. Guess what- I cried right along with her because of the money and because of her million dollar performance.
I must say also that Audra McDonald was so convencing; I cried for her too. The whole cast was good. I got a chance to read the book about 3 years ago, but this cast just gave a face to all the characters.
