Easily the best remake of any movie I have EVER seen. The Friday the 13th remake was good but this is golden. It's my 5th favorite A Nightmare on Elm Street because its a remake that doesn't copy the movie scene for scene but doesn't make it seem like a whole new movie.
It's genius. I like Jackie Earle Haley as Freddy but he's no Robert Englund. But I was expecting that and I don't see why this movie gets such bad reviews I mean where you expecting an equal to the original? It's a highly overrated movie and should be taken for what it is.
