Review of A Most Violent Year (2014) by Andrew R — 08 Feb 2015
A Most Violent Year is another film that has been missed by the 2015 Oscars. Jessica Chastain and Oscar Isaac's performances are fantastic. The film keeps the viewer thinking and wondering the whole time.
Its mysterious noir at its best. Source material on a subject that has not been explored too much. The film shows how dirty and dangerous running an oil company at that time was. It also shows what some people will do in order to succeed.
A great film and one of the best if not the best of 2014.
