Review of A History of Violence (2005) by Ollie W — 02 Apr 2011
Utterly successful deconstruction of dishonesty, small town heroism, the cyclic nature of violence and the evolution of a marriage - all told with Cronenberg's typical creeping sense of unease. A modern, fairly disturbing classic from a not so modern master.
