Review of A Field in England (2013) by Kevin T — 08 Jul 2013
There will be many interpretations of this trippy English civil war tale, but this adds to Wheatley's impressive cv. This was on FilmFour the same day as it was released in cinemas, blu-ray and dvd.
Will become a cult favourite. Shearsmith gives the performance of his career to-date. Not as good as Kill List, but still backs up the conjecture that Ben Wheatley will continue to produce to a high standard despite his quick-fire nature.
