Review of A Field in England (2013) by Riff R — 11 Aug 2014
Well it certainly makes you think. I am not one to shy away from fantastical films where it is hard to make sense of them. I love off kilter films with a dark heart. But there's something missing from A Field In England - it's captivating, gross, decidely weird, yet also straight forward.
But unlike Ben Wheatley's other efforts, this one doesn't do it for me particularly. Hmm.
