Review of A Deadly Adoption (2015) by Paul D — 05 Aug 2015

This film was advertised as a black comedy by the channel showing it. It's certainly not that, but even so, having Will Ferrell in it is immediately unnerving for a drama. In the first scene I was expecting something funny to happen, but it soon dawned on me this was a crime drama and not to expect too many laughs.

Ferrell isn't great in this genre, but the film itself isn't much to work with anyhow for the cast, and is on the made-for-television side of the film industry scale with its production values.
