Review of A Bug's Life (1998) by Marko K — 08 Aug 2011
After "Toy Story" Lasseter takes computer animation even further and bring us this Oscar-nominated lovely and enjoyable feature about ants trying to fight back grasshoppers. Main character Flik actually brings the bunch of "warriors" not knowing that they are just circus performers....and than it becomes great....
Beautiful animations.....fully dimensional and just amazingly colored and shaped (check out scene with rain...just brilliant).
Probably the unlucky thing was that this feature came out shorty after DreamWorks' "Antz" so it was lot of similarity....but there's nothing similar with those two features....."Antz", a and although it is great movie....it's just not in the same level with "A Bugs Life"......
