Review of A Boy. A Girl. A Dream (2018) by Kendell J — 17 Sep 2018
A Boy, A Girl, A Dream is a story on how a chance meeting between two people can set you back on track. The film stars Megan Good and Omar Hardwick, and is.
Set is LA the night of the 2012 election. Outside of the forced election day interactions there is nothing to sink your teeth into on how this is impacting these people lives as the live on the hill and sip champagne.
Throughout the film I found myself waiting, for a moment of clarity on how Trump would impact the two leads, but it never happens. Instead there is a constant flirting back and forth that by the end is exhausting. This is a film that may have been better suited for the smaller screen. A streaming service or even HBO tv movie would have made better sense.
