Review of 6 Guns (2010) by Tina D — 07 Jun 2010
This is one of those movies that never hit the theaters and you can tell why. Although some of the acting is actually pretty good, the script does suffer from some overbearing dialog and you could basically watch the entire premise of this movie in the first 15 minutes and in the last 15 minutes.
As westerns go, this one might be worth your time. There is a pretty emotional scene at the beginning that I think was handled about as well as it could have been regarding the material. The final gun battle isn't all that great but the rest of the story is interesting enough.
One thing I did appreciate is that this movie actually pays really close attention to how many bullets everyone has. When you run out, you are just out and you look stupid.
