I think a lot of the reviews are biased. The director did a really good job in his portrayal of nitrogen narcosis. Though I'm not sure when experiencing it, hallucinations would be a vivid as the ones depicted in the movie, the idea and events that occurred afterward came as a shock.
The movie did exactly what it was suppose to do in terms of suspense. My sister and I really enjoyed it!
