Despite the bad reviews, this is exactly the type of horror film we want from Rob Zombie. It's fun, it's morbid, disturbing, and relentless. And given all that, it still carries his signature style and artistic flare.
Despite his last two terrible films, I believe this one puts him back in the eyes of true horror fans. The film itself is reminiscent of "The Running Man", and if you're not looking for much of a story-line, it's the perfect horror to mindlessly entertain you.
