Brilliantly photographed wuxia that's troubled by an inefficient and quite ridiculous script, its glossiness and a weak central performance by Donnie Yen. Still, Wei Zhao and the amazing Sammo Hung in a leg-less guest appearance make this one worthwhile entertainment.
