Review of 1-Ichi (2003) by Jason J — 20 Dec 2009
It's a fairly good low budget prequel following Shiroishi, a teenage boy bullied for being weak and helpless until one day all that pent up rage inside him explodes in a fury of violence against his tormentors.
It sorta explains how he became the sadist person in Takashi Miike's Ichi The Killer. This movie though doesn't even come close to being as brilliant as that one.
