Review of The Quiet (2005) by Haze B — 14 Dec 2008
This is a film about the dysfunction at the heart of a family and the complicity of silence. It has strong themes, characters that actually develop throughout the piece and beautiful HD photography from David Mullen.
However, the end result is less than the sum of its parts and this feels like a missed opportunity.
