This is one of those films that makes you realize how many wonderful movies there are that don't reach popularity, but which critics at least value. It is about the love of your child and about how life is a series of lessons and you never know who your teacher is going to be, in this case the teacher was the child.
The child learns to be resilient and to be a risk taker. Moral of they story: Don't let the philistines win!
