Taron Egerton does an amazing job completely stealing every scene in the film. This movie serves as a reminder of how many good songs Elton truly has while still reminding us that what we see in the public eye rarely reflects what’s happening behind closed doors.
Faithful recreations of Elton’s iconic looks allows the audience to be completely immersed in feeling like you’re actually watching history unfold in front of you. Taron’s voice is one to be praised with how he not only sounds like Elton but brings the emotion of the tracks out through his singing as well.
