Review of Mommy (2014) by Jake Z — 08 Dec 2015
A true modern masterpiece, as well as Xavier Dolan's crowning achievement as a writer director. There is not one flaw to be found within Mommy. Films just don't get better than this. It's without question one of my all-time favorite films, a legit instant classic of next-level filmmaking.
The central performances are astounding. I don't know if Dolan will ever top this one, but I won't be surprised if he does.
