Review of Merchants of Doubt (2014) by Robert B — 06 Apr 2015
One-sided propaganda that actually makes a lot of great points about corporatism and special interests running our government. Yet this documentary also offers no real solutions, and it hits a lot of the same notes.
Director Robert Kenner solution is the state and government is the only action that can combat climate change, and too often he uses divisional tactics to demagogue and demonize people as being ideological that question the science of global warming, when in fact I'm sure Kenner is every bit as ideological as his radical Marxist brother.
I would much rather see a documentary that offers solutions to climate change, and show how volunteerism, great leadership, and true free-market economics of solar, wind, and electrical battery transportation can combat climate change instead of statism.
