Review of Love Liza (2002) by Jake P — 20 Aug 2007
Phillip seymour hoffman fan ? then this is for you,.
Hoffman stars aswilson, a web designer, who when his wife dies, starts to go through a bad dose of depression, when he diccovers a fairwell note under the pillow( she committed suicide) he has to decide wether to read the note and get closure, or go continue with his state of mind, while making random new friends along the way,.
A great film to show off hoffmans talents, magnolia the closest role to this, it really delves into what a person might feel after a loved one dies, quite funny as well, but feel for him, as he gets into situations some of them, not so good, another great low key american indie, and a great supporting turn from cathy bates. a god film for a solid performance.
