Review of Dior and I (2015) by Tina F — 07 Mar 2018
What goes into the development of a high fashion collection at a world famous design house? This documentary shows you. In 2011, Christian Dior fired John Galliano as its creative director, and replaced him with Raf Simons, a Dutch-speaking Belgian known for his minimalism.
This documentary takes the viewer inside the development of Simons's first haute couture collection for Dior, and their first show in Paris to display the collection to the world. Quite an eye-opening and exciting exposition of the creative process in the fashion industry.
Loved this documentary, and loved the dresses in Simons's first haute couture collection.
