This is what it was really like living in Brooklyn black. How many movies depicted how black people lived and the real struggles that they pushed through. I read the review Tichard from TIME gave on this movie and I can tell he was attacking Spike rather than acknowledging the fact that this movie is the best of its time because its original and had more black actors on it than he could fathom that did amazing job with acting.
Especially the main character. Lets hear more about the plot the actors and the fact that this was shot in Brooklyn. I am about to watch it again...
