Review of Butterflies Are Free (1972) by Lena L — 21 Sep 2009
***1/2 (out of four).
Excellent screen adaption of the hit Broadway play. A young blind man looks to live a more independent life in the Haight-Ashbury district area of San Fransisco. Eileen Heckhart won an Oscar has the young man's overbearing mother. Goldie Hawn is also great.
