Decided to forget about my preconceptions about woodys films and actual watch one. Brilliant stuff. Excellent writing characters acting and satire with a realistic punch.
Big fan of Larry David's Curb your Enthusiasm, and seen many an interview where Larry describes the impact of Woody and 'Jewish comedy' - I can see that everything about Larry David is massively influenced by Woody.
