I love the pairing of real life husband and wife, Abhishek and Aishwarya, but "Umrao Jaan" kind of bored me. Don't get me wrong, it really is a compelling story about everything that happens to this girl as she turns into a woman but I guess I was waiting for her to catch a break.
It's too depressing for my taste. On the upside, the songs are good and Ash looks beautiful performing them.
