Review of Tootsie (1982) by Han D — 05 Jul 2008
What do you do when the movie industry is so saturated with bullshit? that's right, you go back to the time when you didn't catch the good stuff. this is definitely one of them. rather than feeling dated, it was an extremely refreshing and uplifting experience.
while some of its plot elements weren't well developed, dustin hoffman's performance and character makes up for everything that this (and current) movie(s) lack. and how about that lovely ballad by stephen bishop? absolutely amazing.
