Review of The Last Detail (1973) by P. P — 14 Feb 2009
This is perfect in every way - a testimony a great era for American cinema - the 1970's, when mainstream audiences would actually pay to see thoughtful, nuanced, realistic movies. Nicholson is as good as in Five Easy Pieces in this funny, heartbreaking and deeply tender story.
The remaining cast are equally affecting. Essential viewing!
