Incredible documentary on film history and LGBT characters as portrayed throughout nearly 100 years in film. The treatment of the subject pre-Brokeback Mountain demonstrates how many changes have been made since the mid-1990s (and how many more changes still need to happen).
I heartily recommend this adaptation of Russo's writing to anyone wanting to know more about the history of LGBT portrayals in film.
