A lifelong Trek fan here since the 70's I wish the haters would be quiet about JJ and these movies. Trek was dead, Enterprise was a terrible series and Nemesis just failed to go out with a bang. Hes made a superb action movie, reintroduced the original crew who were lets face it the best.
Showed them on a big screen at the academy and how Kirk and Spock meet, how he gets to be Captain. Its a cracking movie. Got Trek back on the map, loads of new fans also. Stick to your DVDs if you dont like it.
