Review of Ponette (1996) by Kendra C — 14 Feb 2009
One of the most amazing child performances I have ever seen. A quiet film that will definitely evoke tears. Though it can be heart-breaking, the film carries you through with a sense of calm and serene acceptance of circumstances, that only a child can posses while trying desperately to understand unthinkable tragedy.
