Review of Orlando (1992) by Felicity L — 21 Jan 2008
This is one of my all-time favourite films. It's a great adaptation of a Virginia Woolf novel, with the film being altogether more accessible than her book. Tilda Swinton is absolutely amazing as the title character.
The sets are rich and sweeping. The soundtrack is hauntingly beautiful. Every time I watch this film, I see another angle, have another question raised for me. Truly glorious cinema!
