Review of Noël (1992) by Linh C — 11 Mar 2008
A lovely film to watch during the Christmas holidays that lifts your spirits and gives you a warm fuzzy feeling. The ensemble cast give excellent performances, with Susan Sarandon so believable and likeable as Rose, Robin Williams in an uncredited role as Charlie, is brilliant, as are Paul Walker and Penelope Cruz.
Alan Arkin shows his exceptional range as the weird obsessed diner owner. Not too sentimental but enough to make you believe in small miracles and hope.
