The first fifteen minutes scream cheesy but this is really a great Christmas movie. The MN accents are REALLY bad (hence only 4 stars given). The movie shows the real fears of "coming out" and losing your family.
One of the characters says to his partner, "I miss how my Mom treated before she knew." What a sad but thought provoking statement. Everyone should take the time to see this corny little film.
