I'm reading the book "The Big Payback: The History of the Business of Hip-Hop" by Dan Charnas which made mention of this flick and sparked my interest. It's positively brimming with 80's nostalgia.
Honestly had it not been available on Netflix streaming I probably wouldn't have gone out of my way to watch it. After watching though it's one of those movies that I was like 'how did I miss this one?' Clearly not for everyone but I got a kick out of it and was able to cross off another cult classic from my list.
